I turn one today! I'm busy picking up new skills as I grow! Over the weekend, I've just learnt to show off my cute buck teeth and squint my eyes really small whenever I'm being asked to smile for the camera =)Like most of the other babies of my age, I have acquired a vocabulary that allows me to point to my mama's nose and pictures of apple/banana when being asked to do so. I enjoy reading with my mama and papa, and can flip the pages on my own upon instruction. I'm also gradually developing my perception of height and fear. Nowadays, I get frightened and hide behind my papa whenever I see the animated crayolas, the tiger puppet and the big snowman come alive on my BB Einsten DVD. Other than that, I'm also able to walk about nine steps at a time, drink straight from a cup, sign for baby, sign for papa (signed twice) and sign for milk (signed once). More importantly, I'm learning to grow up to be a good person. I've learnt from my por por the importance in expressing love, and I show this by cuddling and rocking my BB penguin. I've learnt from my gong gong about the virtues of sharing. I used to hoarde my fave teddy puffs, but am today willing to share them with, and feed them to the people whom I most love.
