Having a ball of a time

We met up with the April mummies/babies at GoGoBambini today.

I love the balls there!

I made sure that I was holding onto a ball while I climbed and made my way about the obstacle courses.

Never mind that it slows down my movements ...

... or if it makes me clumsier.

Two balls is the max that I can bring around with my two little hands though.

After the obstacle courses, me and Kieren had a bit of fun passing a pretty and girly camera pouch to each other!

*Sulking* Where is the pouch now? (PS: It's been taken away by Gladys)

Playdate with Leticia

We visited Leticia at her CCK home last Sunday.

She had a scary doll that sang Brahm's lullaby. Even Leticia was spooked by it.

I tried to ride on her Pegasus, but didn't like it as it was too furry for me.

I had fun moving around the house on her tricycle though.

Leticia in her overturned playhut ...

... it's so much funner to overturn the hut than to play with it upright!

Papa

My favourite and clearest phrase right now is "papa". I like to call out "papa" very loudly whenever mama walks me out of the school. Then I will ask for "papa" again when we are climbing the stairs to get home.

Garage sale

We were on our way home when we saw this advert stuck inside the lift. Turns out that our 10-year-old neighbour Alston was having a garage sale.

We decided to help Alston a little by contributing some new electrical appliances that have been idling in our store room for eons.

Guess what I picked out from the wide array sprawled on the floor? A box to keep pencils! (PS: Kaizer is crazy about boxes!)

Edison

Hello Edison! How's your day been?

Want to go for a ride?

Whee, let's race across the kitchen!

** PS: Saw Kaizer flipping Edison over and toying with it's wheels this morning. He must have had an epihany in the afternoon that all things with wheels can be ridden on. According to his gong gong (I missed this part), Kaizer was quite careful in positioning the worm correctly on the floor first before climbing on top of it. **

Passport

Gong gong gave us a ride to ICA this afternoon as we had to collect my new passport. Grouchy face notwithstanding, we actually had a very pleasant experience at ICA. It took us only nine minutes from the time we stepped into the building till we returned to our car with the new passport. Mama was so pleased with their services that she sent an email to ICA to compliment them!

I'm thinking very hard here -- wondering how many new places I'll get to visit within the next five years.

La la la

Mama can't figure out why my favourite song is Jay Chou's 牛仔很忙, when she and papa can't read Chinese for nuts.

Clap hands ... la la la ... stomp feet

Gyrate hips ... la la la ... shake bons!

Tissue paper box

There was a previous blog entry abt my fascination with boxes/boxing things up. Here's me prodding an empty tissue paper box with rapt attention.

Digging the perforated bit out, ...

... making sure it fits back, ....

... and digging it out again. (Repeat the entire cycle 58 times)

NUK pacifier

Look what I found!

It's a size 1 NUK pacifier from my baby-ish days.

Let's see how it tastes **jams pacifier into mouth**

** PS: Kaizer took to the pacifier for a few weeks when he was abt 3-4 months old. Then he discovered that sucking his thumb was more gratifying. He was very attached on his left thumb for the longest time. In late June this year, he suddenly decided to wean himself off the left thumb for no apparent reason. The downside of this is that since he is off the thumb, he is more dependent on latching on than ever. **

Saturday at IMM

On our way to IMM for lunch.

I had a few spoonful of porridge, before pinching some carrot cake and beef hor fun from the table.

After lunch, we caught a dance performance at IMM's outdoor area.

Amused by the colourful antics on stage.

My next stop is at the children's playground.

Wahhhhhh, I'm having a lot of fun here!

Scaling the tunnel to get to the top of the big slide.

Rocking furiously on the blue metal horse.

It's a happy day. Hope all Saturdays will stay this way =)

Good weekend ahead?

Perched on the Ikea table to watch my BB Einstein signing DVD. I managed to sit by myself thru the entire show. No more fever today! I've also had my milk, bath and a bit of breakfast.

Mama's meeting por por for a walk at Bugis later. She's keeping her fingers crossed that we'll all have a good weekend ahead (not like the previous two sickly ones that we had).

CD-8

Papa published his first paper on dendritic cells in this month's European Journal of Immunology. This is his first paper as a first author since he started his PhD four years ago. I'm very proud of my papa!

Playground at IMM

Pics from last Thursday's meetup with Cherelle, Vanessa, Gladys and their mummies ... (it's good to be up and out, not sickly as I am now).

Leaving Cherelle behind while I scale the taller tunnel on my own.

Rocking is so fun ...

... that Gladys decided to join me!

Group picture!

It's time to say goodbye! Muaks!
