Syringe-feeding

Papa realized that whenever he tries to syringe- feed me my anti-histamine med, I would wail till the cows come home. But immediately after the job is done, I would happily play with the empty syringe and pretend to feed him or myself. Last night, papa allowed me to syringe-feed the med myself while mama carried me. I actually took the med rather happily!

Squirting FM into my mouth with mama closely supervising behind.

After a few gos, I grew rather tired of this method and returned to use the straw cup instead.

Well-behaved boy

We did a little shopping after we left the ultra-crowded Comex fair. Making myself comfortable in Fox.

Trying to run off with the shoes that I'm trying ...

Trying to hide behind the door at the Levi's signature shop.

Entertaining mama with my antics ...

As I was extremely well-behaved today, papa and mama managed to get two pairs of jeans and a new top from the shop. They also went to bookshop and bought three books, met up with Auntie Lynn to collect my bilibo and had dinner at Tiong Bahru before returning home.

Interesting find: Baby room at Citilink mall requires concierge access! Mama asked the service staff why this was so, and found out that youngsters have been found abusing the room before. Thinking of them and their hanky-panky acts next to poo and pee infested bins = yiiiiikes!

Comex 2008

As mama was feeling a lot better by noon time, we decided to make a trip to Comex 2008. As usual, I'm excited to be going out!

Papa, check out the ______________ ?!? (fill in the blanks)

New milestone for mama and me ... this is the first time she's choosing to feed me FM instead of getting me to latch on when it's time for my afternoon milk feed. This is also her very first time preparing FM with a small formula dispenser. As of 25 Aug 08, she's officially instructed the school to supplement her EBM with NAN (HA). Not that her BM supply is dwindling, but she really feels like weaning me off to let her body take a rest before she tries for another kid. I've been taking to NAN (HA) pretty well in school. Must be all the peer pressure again, she thinks.

Mama is satisfied that I've been able to finish abt 90ml of FM while she walked me from Marina Sqaure to Suntec.

Posing with the ultra cheap printer cum scanner that we bought at the fair.

Blue shoes

Funny story with this pair of blue shoes: I discovered them when I was ransacking the cupboard at por por's house last Saturday. According to por por, I tried putting them on and surprisingly managed to do so, except that the wrong shoe went onto the wrong feet. Anyway, the story went that I was so happy with the shoes I had refused to take them off. Por por being por por, kindly allowed me to totter about in her house for the whole afternoon with the shoes on. Of course, if it happened at home, mama and papa would never have allowed me to do so.

In a daze

Papa carrying me to school yesterday. As I've been sleeping slightly later every night at 8-ish pm, I've frequently in a daze when someone scoops me up to go to school.

Tattoos!

Papa inked a few tattoos on my arms on Wednesday. So evil! Mama had to whisk me off to bathe immediately after this pic.

Cheeky? Irritated?

Was having a little after-dinner snack on Wednesday evening.

Mama thinks I'm trying to look cheeky for the camera.

No no, papa corrected her. I'm just irritated by all the flash that's going off around me!

MC

Mama hasn't been updating the blog this week cos she's sick. She has a dripping nose, cough, and an eczema outbreak. She had so many spots on her arms that the receptionist at Clementi Polyclinic asked if she was having chix pox yesterday. Anyway, she's on MC yesterday and today. This is her first MC this year. It's her third one that she's taken since she started working a couple of years back. No more MCs please!

Plucking beansprouts

Getting excited that I'm finally able to contribute towards the well-being of my family!

Gong gong teaching me to pluck out the tips of the beansprouts.

I am gong gong's little appretice.

Picking up a fistful of beansprouts tips ...

... and dropping them into the bag again!

Hey, where did the beansprout tips go?

Heeeeeee, this is fun!

** PS: Other than plucking beansprouts, Kaizer is frequently being asked to keep his own toys in the toybox and throw away unwanted papers/food wrappers into the wastepaper basket. He is a lot more successful in these chores than in plucking beansprouts!

Visit to West Mall

It was a cold lazy Saturday afternoon, and we're on our way to West mall.

Pointing at some fair going on at the ground floor.

Peek-a-boo!

Hiding behind pretty shower curtains at Aussino.

Knocked myself against a glass door, and ruptured a small vessel in my right eye. The GP downstairs say that it would probably go away by itself in a little while.

Dinner at Woodlands

Mama and me on the way to Auntie Suan's house in Woodlands for dinner.

Wiping my own nose and mouth with a piece of tissue paper that I pulled out for the box.

Bryan kor kor showing me around his granny's house.

Checking out Bryan kor kor's racer bike.

Mama, can I have one of these too?

Playing hide and seek behind the translucent curtain.

Combi stacking toy

Mama was at home with me yesterday and decided to let me play with this stacking toy. Two months ago, I was only interested in smashing the structure. Yesterday, I was able to stack it up to the final two tiers.

Structure getting tall ...

... and taller.

Opps, it has collapsed~!

Hahaa, having fun sweeping all the pieces all over the place.
