Gerber puffs, watermelon and candles for my 18-month-old celebration in school.












18 lighted candles on top of the watermelon!













Classmates gathering around the watermelon and candles that just won't extinguish.












We tried huffing and puffing, but when the candles just won't go out, sun lao shi started dishing out paper plates for us to fan the flames instead!










While some classmates stood at the front and did their best to put out the flames ...












I made myself comfortable between Sophia and Kimberly to watch the action from the sidelines.












After the hustle and bustle, it was now time to settle down and wait for teacher Daya to distribute our Gerber puffs.











I kept reaching over to Elin's bowl to grab her puffs. Somehow I must have decided that her puffs must taste nicer than mine, even though they are really all the same!
