Day 1: Eating, eating and more eating!
2nd grand uncle came to pick us up at the airport right after we landed ...
Relishing the chance to climb the stairs in his bungalow since I don't get to do this very often in Singapore.
Happy to be running about his big house!
Next up is an early lunch at the Super Tanker food centre.
Perched on a "traditional" high chair while I watched the adults tuck into their food.
Kong kong has been craving for curry mee (top) since we've confirmed our trip to Penang a few months back!
After lunch, we took a short walk around the market to pick up some bananas before we checked into G Hotel.
Guess who(se car) we bumped into at the entrance of the hotel!

The afternoon was so hot that we just
had to g
o swimming!
Mama and me couldn't decide where we should be wading to.
One of the few pics with me inside the float. For some strange reason, I decided that I didn't like to sit inside the float at all.
Lots of family pics for this trip as kong kong/por por were more than happy to snap pics of us and for us!
As there was 45 minutes more before we were due to meet up with kong kong/por por, we decided that a little tea time snack at Breeks would be a good idea.

When everyone arrived, we adjorned for an extremely early dinner at Gurney Drive hawker centre.

Couldn't try most of the food that was ordered, so I had mango instead.
Digging into my mango with the same gusto as kong kong did for his rojak.
After dinner, it was back to the mall again.
Keeping myself busy and amused while the adults walked around the mall.

Enjoying my pasta dinner at the end of the day. This was one of my few good meals on the trip. Couldn't stomach anything much for most of the trip due to the silly bout of fever.
