Great grandma, kong kong and a sour-faced me ...












... now there, that's a lot better!













Kong kong wanted to spend the day with great grandma -- visit relatives, drop by the temple and eat more local food. Program wasn't very suitable for the rest of us, so we headed off to Queensbay Mall for lunch and shopping instead.

Spaghetti sauce was spicy, yucks! For my lunch, I had most of the corn/carrot, plus some flavoured rice.















After lunch, we went off to the kid's amusement area where I tried to play bus driver for the day!

Looking extremely flushed after my 1.5hour nap. Napped in the ergo carrier for most of the trip as we've decided not to bring a stroller along with us to Penang.










All perked up and ready to play once more!

A few hours later, we found ourselves at the Chicken Rice Place at Gurney Plaza. No hawker fare for kong kong this time round as it was raining too heavily to venture out. Here's a pic of me dishing out utensils at dinner time.
