Malacca Day 1

Posing grudingly with auntie Kerry at Golden Mile just before we boarded the bus.

Already had 150ml of milk before I boarded the bus. Once the bus started moving, I kept myself entertained with snacks and books during the first half of the ride.

After a hearty mee tai mak lunch which was packed in my thermos in the morning, I went over to auntie Pauline's seat to play with her stickers.

Didn't fuss at all on the ride as I was sufficiently entertained by all the 11 adults (mama and papa included) on the travelling party! Am trying to search for a sticker now to paste on the sole of my feet!

Getting myself wet with the fountain at the hotel lobby just as the adults were busy trying to check in.

Fell asleep at 1pm sharp after having taken 150ml of milk in the room. Great timing ....

... cos it meant that mama and papa could have an ultra long lunch w/out having to take care of me! First up was some chix rice balls and assam fish head curry.

Ten minutes later, they decided to stop to try some nyonya and assam laksa.

They also had yummy fruit juices, durian chendol and mango ice kacang at the same place.

The final part of lunch consisted of traditional wanton noodles. I woke up at this point, and shared about 1/4 bowl of mama's noodles. Yum!

We decided to return to the hotel first so that I could go swimming, while the other 9 adults continued walking along Jonker Street.

Had another 150ml of milk in the afternoon while concurrently exploring the room, plonking myself on the pillows, jumping on the bed, and basically having a jolly good time =)

Hotel slippers - won't go w/out them as long as I am in the room.

Was bought to the pool, but told mama that I didn't want to swim as it was too hot. Soaked a while in the tub instead.

Had dinner at a decent looking place just outside the hotel as it was drizzling and we couldn't venture too far out w/out an umbrella.

Roast pork rice was pretty good, but I decided that I didn't want any dinner after all.

Chix feet in thai style must have been pretty good too, cos papa devoured the whole plate by himself (along with 2 other side dishes).

Mama had chix rice balls again; both the balls and chix meat tasted better than the ones at lunch time!

Was back to the room for my bath and 250ml of milk by 7 plus. Mama and papa decided not to join the rest for their evening makan session as I needed my beauty sleep. The other adults pigged out on nyonya food, carrot cake, char keow teoy, muah chee ... etc from 7pm all the way till midnight. On my part, I zonked out from 8.30pm to 8.30am (only woke up for milk once)!
