Pics from Deepavali
Mama and me waiting for the bus to Vivocity. I'm hot and she's hungry!
Dashing around the play area right after lunch!
Shirtless again as the play area's scorching hot ...
... as can be seen from my messy hairdo.
Auntie Christine and family were there to bake in the sun too!
Giving Alina a goodbye hug ...
... before adjorning to Page One to say hi to Dr Seuss and friends.
Attempting to look all scholarly with a Wall.E book that grunts and makes strange sounds.

Left hand
Image captured whilst playing with the scanner. No hands were harmed in the process!
Happy Deepavali!
We had a rather happy Deepavali at Vivocity this morning. More pics coming up!

Baby Tong Tong
Bringing a gift to auntie Fei Chuin's place on Saturday evening.
Here's baby Tong Tong, who's only two weeks old!
Was uninterested in the baby ...
... and spent all my time playing with the safety gate instead.
I did however sit down to wail when mama and baby Tong Tong posed for this picture!

Happy to be out!
Showing a "happy face" as por por and me made our way to IMM to get groceries for the weekend.
Morning session at the pool
Trying to figure out why I'm out of the house w/out my shorts this morning.
Cos I'm visiting the pool!
There was no one at the children's pool when we arrived, and the water feature was not turned on yet.
When the feature was finally turned on however, I started getting scared and held on to papa for my dear life.
So that was basically what I continued to do for the rest of the morning at the pool -- holding tight and refusing to let go of papa while he brought me around the pool.

Tea with Vanessa at IMM
After lunch, Vanessa arrived to join us for the rest of the afternoon.
We visited the playground ...
... but I kept wandering over to look at the water feature instead. Only Vanessa had a chance to play with the water as mama didn't want to get me wet/change my clothes.
It's tea time! Cherelle and me having breakfast ohs and rice cakes for tea today.
Actually, we were not as cordial as the pic suggested. Earlier on, Cherelle didn't want to share a kiddy ride with me, while I tried to push her away when we were looking at a toy dispensing machine together. At snack time, she didn't want to share her snacktrap cup, but later relented when I offered her my rice cake as a form of exchange.
Not content to sit still, I'm up and climbing again ...
... this time, it's on a glass panel that is thankfully not so high.
Vanessa had a lollipop for tea!
Pretending to bite into her lollipop and smiling coyly for the camera =)
Lunch with Cherelle at IMM
Arrived at IMM an hour early for our lunch date with Cherelle and her mama. What do we do in the meantime?
Amuse some Japanese tourists with my antics ...
... and strike up funny poses for the camera!
Is my food ready yet? It's 1.5 hours past my usual lunch time and I'm starrrrrrrrving.
Tadaa, my lunch finally arrived! The rocket has a USA tag though we were actually having lunch at a Japanese restaurant.
My hands are the most efficient utensils in a meal.
Looking tomato-ish and messy after finishing most of the pasta.
Cherelle woke up from her short nap and is about to start to eat soon.
Cherelle and aunty Cynthia pose for a pic.
Mama and me and loads of spagetti in my mouth.
After lunch, it's time to work off the calories. Cherelle tried to ask me not to climb by telling me "no" very resolutely.
But when she realized that she couldn't beat me, she might as well join me.
The couple at the background is nonchalent while Cherelle and me execute our stunts.

Organic breakfast O's
This is the yummy thing that I was eating in the previous post!
Bedtime snack
Having a little snack before bedtime.
These snacks were recommended by Cherelle's mama.
Transporting my snack and water to the room (to look for papa)!

Retro shots
Since the green hued settings have to be reset, mama might as well experiment and see how the other coloured settings pan out. This is the green hued version ...
... the black and white version ...
... the sepia version ...
... and the original version.
Here's mama's fav - red hued version. She thinks that the red hues complement our 1970s old-fashioned kitchen wall tiles well. Makes everything a little more surreal and a little less banal.
